Barley Snyder Attorney Julia Parrish Appointed to Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section Legislative Review Committee
York, Pa. – We pleased to announce that attorney Julia M. Parrish has been appointed to the Legislative Review Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section. The Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section is one of the largest and most active sections of the PBA. It is dedicated to advancing the practice and understanding of real estate, estate planning, probate, and trust law throughout Pennsylvania. The Section provides continuing legal education, legislative advocacy, publications, professional networking, and pro bono opportunities. It also plays a vital role in drafting and reviewing legislation related to real property and estate law in the Commonwealth. In her new role, Parrish will help review proposed legislation pending in the Pennsylvania House or Senate, and provide feedback about how those bills could affect clients throughout Pennsylvania, as well as the practice of law in the area of trusts, estates, and property. “I’m honored to provide insights to the Legislative Review Committee and share the potential impact of proposed legislation upon our clients and our practice,” said Parrish. “This role offers a meaningful opportunity to help shape thoughtful, effective legislation that directly impacts families and property owners across Pennsylvania.” Parrish is a member of Barley Snyder’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group where she focuses on estate planning and trust and estate administration. She works closely with her clients to identify their priorities and craft comprehensive estate plans tailored to their needs. In her trust and estate administration practice, Parrish guides clients through the complexities of probate and trust administration with compassion and efficiency. Outside the firm, Parrish is an active member in the York community, serving on the Philanthropy Committee for York Habitat for Humanity and volunteering with the York County Bar Foundation’s Leave a Legacy Program.
