News Release: Stock and Leader Welcomes Three New Attorneys
Stock and Leader is pleased to announce that Seth B. Byers, Madison S. Meiser, and Madison N. Reed have each joined the firm as an Associate. Seth Byers joins the school law practice group, focusing on general education law. Madison Meiser joins the business and real estate practice groups, where she will focus on business and commercial transactions, business planning, and commercial real estate and finance. Madison Reed joins the estate practice group, where she will help with preparation of estate planning documents, including wills, general durable powers of attorney, trusts, and health care powers of attorney. She will also assist with estate and trust administration matters.
Seth Byers hails from Hershey, Pennsylvania. During his undergraduate studies, he ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing a social media marketing agency, where he worked with local businesses to manage their social media presence and advertising campaigns. He built his business while simultaneously majoring in Astronomy and Astrophysics and minoring in Computer Science. Seth clerked at the Pittsburgh law firm Kapusta & Schweers and with Stock and Leader before graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Madison Meiser obtained a dual undergraduate degree, interned at the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, and volunteered as a Pardon Coach for Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity. As an intern at Heraeus Group, a global technology company, she handled corporate and intellectual property law-related tasks, cultivating her interest in IP work. Additionally, she clerked at K & G Law, a Montgomery County-based IP law firm, which provided her the opportunity to observe matters in the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Madison graduated from the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law.
A native of York, Madison Reed obtained a dual undergraduate degree complemented by dual minors. She excelled in the classroom, served as a teaching assistant, and was named to the Dean's List. Outside the classroom, she earned recognition on the First Team All-PAC Tennis Singles and Doubles teams in back-to-back seasons, 2019-2021, and closed with a 12-match winning streak. Madison interned at a regional public policy Think Tank and clerked at a local law firm, gaining exposure to elder law and estate planning before graduating from Duquesne University School of Law. Madison gives back to the community as an assistant coach of her church's youth soccer camp and volunteers with the Special Olympics Tennis program
